Join us at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, when we explore the history of Scottsdale with Paul Messinger.  Founded in 1888 by Army chaplain Winfield Scott, the city that bears his name retained its rural character until about 1951, when the community incorporated under the motto "The West's Most Western Town".

Beginning in September 2015, we meet at First United Methodist Church, 5510 North Central Avenue in Phoenix.  The church is located on the northwest corner of Central and Missouri Avenues.

Parking lots can be entered from either Central Avenue or Missouri Avenue.  From the parking lots, proceed to Asbury Hall, the location for our meeting.  Asbury Hall is handicapped-accessible.

The program will be followed by a catered luncheon (optional), provided by Personal Touch Caterers.  Cost of the lunch is $10 per person.  To make your luncheon reservation, please contact Marianne Cole at

For more programs, please see the calendar of upcoming events.
